My German Bible says:
"Es wird nicht dunkel bleiben über denen, die in Angst sind".
This means in my own words: It will not remain dark over them who are afraid.
My NKJV Thinline Bible of 2017 / Thomas Nelson, division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Inc. does not include verse 23. Chapter 8 terminates with verse 22. Which I find very unfortunate as this verse ends with darkness.
But there will be light over them who are afraid and those who believe.
